Gmail’s web & mobile applications have a handy feature – to schedule emails. You can send emails using the feature at a specified time and date. This results in higher visibility and opens because the emails arrive in the recipient's inbox at the time when they are most inclined to interact.

Adhere to the following steps –
Sign in to your Google Workspace Account.
(Sidenote: Google Workspace is not free; you will have to choose a payment plan in your Google Admin console to access these features.)
When you've accessed your Gmail inbox, click the ‘Compose’ option at the top left of your screen.
This will launch your new email's compose window. After finishing the email, open a pop-up by clicking the downward-pointing arrow adjacent to the 'Send' button.
Press the ‘Schedule Send’ option.
You should be presented with a set of different options, including ‘Tomorrow morning, Tomorrow afternoon, Monday morning.’ However, if you intend to choose your own date and time, click the ‘Pick date & time’ option &you should now be presented with a number of options for scheduling your email.
Choose a particular time on the right and a particular day from the calendar on the left to pick your own time and date from the 'Pick date & time' box.
Click on the ‘Schedule Send’ button to finalize the process.
Additional Note: The procedures for scheduling emails in Apple Mail are comparable to those for scheduling emails in Gmail. The only distinction is that the 'Schedule send' button in Apple Mail has been replaced with a 'Send Later’ button. You may schedule send from your Apple Mail, Gmail & Outlook profiles by using the 'Send Later' button in Apple Mail.
Let’s say you’ve scheduled an email but believe that you now want to cancel. You have no reason to panic since this process is simple as well.
Sign in to your Gmail account from your web browser.
You’ll find the ‘Scheduled’ option on the right side of your inbox; click that button.
Click on the scheduled email you want to cancel.
There’s going to be an option on the right side of the interface that states ‘Cancel Send.’ Click on that button. Now you’ve canceled the email you scheduled.
Once you’ve scheduled an email but intend to change either the contents of the email or the date and time they’re going to be delivered, the process is easy and simple. First, you will have to follow the steps above and cancel your scheduled email. Once the emails are moved to the draft section, comply with the following steps:
Click on the ‘Drafts’ folder on the interface.
Choose the email you want to reschedule and edit.
Once you’ve made any necessary alterations, click on the downward-facing arrow beside the ‘Send’ option and press the ‘Schedule Send’ button that pops up.
Now a pop-up menu will appear that’ll allow you to pick a date and time of your choosing to send your scheduled email.
After you’re done with the choice of when you want your emails delivered, click on the date and time of your liking, and you’ll have re-scheduled an edited email.
Press the compose button in your Gmail app on your iOS device or Android.
Write the email you want to schedule.
Find the three dots positioned at the top right of your screen in the Compose window.
These dots are horizontal on iOS devices and vertical on their Android counterparts.
A pop-up menu will appear with the ‘Schedule Send’ option; click that button.
Afterward, a window will appear that will allow you to pick the date & time of your choosing.
You may also cancel emails in your mobile apps with relative ease as well. Here’s how you do it.
Open the Gmail app on your device.
Click on the 3 lines next to the search bar.
Navigate the interface till you see the ‘Scheduled’ option and press it. Afterward, choose the scheduled send email you intend to cancel.
Press on the ‘cancel send’ button on the right hand of the screen.
This email will no longer be sent at the time you previously scheduled and will be relocated to the ‘Drafts’ section.
First, follow the steps mentioned above to cancel a scheduled email in the Gmail Mobile app. Afterward, go to your ‘Drafts’ section & follow these steps:
Click on the previously scheduled email you canceled in your ‘Drafts.’
Once you’ve clicked on the email you’d like to edit, the compose bar will open, and you’ll be able to make any alterations you want to.
After you’ve made your changes, click on the 3 dots on the top right-hand corner, and the menu for the time and date will pop up.
Select the time and date of your choice and schedule your email.
